Does a great job. Sharp and well balanced.

Used it to make some shallow cavities in charcuterie boards. Crisp cuts and leaves a flat smooth surface under the bit.

I bought this to hollow out some tests. The blade is sharp so it plunges an cuts smoothly leaving a great finish with no chipout.

This bit was very sharp when it arrived and after four uses Im very pleased

Mostly used this on cedar but have used it on ash and walnut. Whiteside never disappoints. Monkey Fart.

If you are making a tray this is a good product. It is easy to use and after you route the outside just go over the inside and it will be flat. I only had to do very little sanding after using the product.

I purchased this bit along with a extension to route serving bowls in 2 thick mahogany. The bit was checked in 2and half horse power router on a CNC machine. It ran for 90 minutes per tray with excellent finish and sharpness. Dont know what the life expectancy is for this bit but Whiteside has an excellent reputation for durablity. I have done three trays so far with vey good results. Highly recommended.

You can never go wrong with Whiteside bits. In my opinion these are the best bits for new woodworkers. They are a little on the pricey side, far from being the most expensive but the value they offer is well worth it. Quality is amazing and then stay sharp for a long time. I started out buying the cheapest bits I could that had decent reviews and they kept chipping or just blowing apart during use, and I ended up spending way more on multiple cheap bits than if I had just bought better ones from the start. Learn from my mistakes.
