> 24 hourThis is my favorite vbit. The third flute really changes the quality of cut in mdf. Small details don’t sheer off and the bit is very quiet compared to the other V bits I tried. The photo with “your orders” and the review section is wrong. You get the more compact bit seen in the listing photos.

> 24 hourI was having a terrible time trying to do inlays in walnut/maple with my Whiteside 1502, all the male carves were being torn up. I ordered the 1542 and ran the same toolpaths and all I can say is WOW! I ran at 18K RPM and a feedrate of 80IPM and my inlays are perfect. This bit has 3 flutes, so I am guessing that is the difference. You will not regret adding this bit to your inventory if you do inlays.

> 24 hourWith two projects done so far but I am very pleased with the clean cut. Ive used it to cut decorative borders in hard maple cribbage boards. The bit cuts to a point with no flat spot on the end. Very happy with the bit.

> 24 hourDont use the photo for this item to decide if this is the right bit... the photo is incorrect! I also found that photos on the manufacturers website were also misleading, but the descriptions are correct. The Whiteside #1541 is a solid carbide 60° V-groove bit that is 1/4 in diameter, has a 1/4 shank, and a 3-flute cutting point. I purchased this bit to use in router-carving wood signs, and it performs exceptionally well in this role. The tool is very sharp and has maintained its edge well through use. Great value for the money!

> 24 hourGreat American made quality. No China crap here. Ive been using bits from Whiteside for years and they are definitely quality made and work perfectly. They may cost a little more than the China junk , but they are totally worth it.

> 24 hourI use this bit for making wood signs and I can use this to make very small, detailed signs with my router. Easily my favorite bit to use. Extremely sharp, don’t ask me how I know

> 24 hourThe picture in the search is incorrect, the picture in the main body is correct. These are very nice bit, sharp and great at cutting hard woods like maple and walnut.
