Greater than one weekGreat bit. Cuts wood like butter and makes very clean cuts. Will buy again.

> 3 dayI don’t think that this bit is any better than the Foos 60 degree bit. The Foos has a sharper point and is comparable in price.

Greater than one weekI was having a terrible time trying to do inlays in walnut/maple with my Whiteside 1502, all the male carves were being torn up. I ordered the 1542 and ran the same toolpaths and all I can say is WOW! I ran at 18K RPM and a feedrate of 80IPM and my inlays are perfect. This bit has 3 flutes, so I am guessing that is the difference. You will not regret adding this bit to your inventory if you do inlays.

> 3 dayI got this to cut the entrance chamfer into the Teflon tube for my Prusa 3D printer. It is sharp and cute the Teflon nicely just twisting it by hand. Rather a specialized use, but it worked well for it.
