> 3 dayUsed this bit to replace a 60 degree v-bit that kept breaking off the tip. It ran flawlessly through 12-4x8 sheets of fir plywood at 1/16 deep. Afterwords examined the tip and cutting edge with a jewelers loupe and found it was almost as new. Highly recommend this for engraving and projects were a v-groove bit will break.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite vbit. The third flute really changes the quality of cut in mdf. Small details don’t sheer off and the bit is very quiet compared to the other V bits I tried. The photo with “your orders” and the review section is wrong. You get the more compact bit seen in the listing photos.

> 3 dayGreat American made quality. No China crap here. Ive been using bits from Whiteside for years and they are definitely quality made and work perfectly. They may cost a little more than the China junk , but they are totally worth it.

> 3 dayThree flutes are great. Very smooth insertion with a plunge router and smooth sides to the cavity. A longer shaft would be nice for use in a plunge router making signs. Im using mine in a Bosch colt with plunge base. Would buy again.

> 3 dayI don’t think that this bit is any better than the Foos 60 degree bit. The Foos has a sharper point and is comparable in price.

> 3 dayI use this bit for making wood signs and I can use this to make very small, detailed signs with my router. Easily my favorite bit to use. Extremely sharp, don’t ask me how I know

Greater than one weekI got this to cut the entrance chamfer into the Teflon tube for my Prusa 3D printer. It is sharp and cute the Teflon nicely just twisting it by hand. Rather a specialized use, but it worked well for it.
