In Extender mode it allows you to use the ethernet port for devices that dont support WiFi. It also has the ability to be a full Access Point. This would be great for travel or as a backup but I wouldnt use it for normal operation.

My wife and I recently moved into a new house with a beautiful sunroom where we spend most of our time. Unfortunately, our wifi was really spotty in that room for some reason. Our young children would regularly use our iPad in there and repeatedly have to ask my wife or I to reconnect it to the internet. It just became a hassle. Our Netgear range extender was exactly what we needed and at a fraction of the cost that our carrier was selling similar items. We couldnt be happier with this product!

I had been looking for a WiFi range extender for months, but was put off by the complexity of setting them up. When I looked into this one it seemed that the setup was much easier than most. I was right. The directions are very straightforward, and I set it up rather quickly. The added range is wonderful, I now have a strong signal throughout my whole house! I had a difficult time getting my extender up and running. Had to call tech support and work with them for 90 minutes. Once it was up and running, my extender works great.

Works great. Took me 10 minutes to setup via browser. I now have full signal to my smart TV in the basement.The network speeds are also faster than my old router alone. I am able to stream high bit rate videos to the smart TV from my phone now effortlessly. On my old router it would continually buffer, even if it had good signal.Highly recommended.

Lieterung und Ware sind in Ordnung. Lieferung schnell und Bestellung unkompliziert. Pries und Leistung sind auch in Ordnung. Also steht bei Bedarf einem neuen Kauf nichts im Wege.

Kabel funktioniert einwandfrei. Was soll man auch sonst zu einem Kabel schreiben? Es erfüllt seinen Zweck ohne Probleme oder wackelige Stecker oder ähnliches.

Set up was very easy: just press the WPS button on your router and then on this device. I think the signal is a little weak. It fades to one bar in less than 20 ft on the same floor. Nice clean design and seems well made.

When I first tried to boot up the extender, it would not connect to my router, so I called the toll-free number. There, a very courteous and capable customer representative helped me get the extender working. As it turned out, the extender would not connect to the router because I had turned off broadcasting the RFID as an extra security measure.Once I turned on broadcast, the extender connected immediately. I need it only once a week, so I disconnect the power during the rest of the week. So far, once I restore the power, the extender connects up in a few seconds.I am very, very happy with this extender and I am especially pleased with their customer support.

Für meinen Smart TV brauchte ich lan kabel verlängerung und habe viel vorher gelesen. und passt und funktioniert einwandfrei und super Verbindung!
