I also found out that once the wifi extender is set up, you can increase the wifi speed significantly more by using it in a room of the house that is wired for Internet and connecting the Ethernet cable, thus making it an Access Point!!! > 3 dayIt did take me awhile to figure out how to use it. It must be configured with a smartphone and not the computer and it needs a MAC address of the device who will be accessing your network via the extender. Works great - great price. I use it for extended range with IP cams.

Reminder:
- The working status of the repeater can refer to its smart indicator light.
- WiFi signal booster is only limited to increase the coverage of the wireless signal, but not to increase the speed of the network.
- When the repeater expands the signal, it does not need to plug in the network cable. It can receive the signal of the router directly by plugging it into the socket, and transmit the wireless signal.
- When the repeater is unplugged or powered off after the setting is completed, it does not need to be reset. The original configuration information has been saved, unless you manually restore the factory state.
