    Im happy with them, because they allowed me to turn of things I left running. But it wasnt with out a rocky start. I found the instruction for adding them to your wifi network lacking. The Feit iOS app procedure for provisioning these little smart plugs into the application, is missing one simple instruction (visual clue). When you click to Add + a new device, the app offers you a few type categories to choose from. Smart plugs is the first category simply touch the plug youre wish to add. What comes next had me stumped for 2 hours. Theres a gray out Next button at the bottom of the page, and your left standing there starring at the screen waiting for that Next button at the bottom of the screen, you expect to light up. It will never happen. Above the Next button is the word Confirm. It simply looks like text on a screen that has no function. But until you tap it, nothing is going to happen. All Feit had to do was make the word Confirm look like a button, and I would have had it provision in 3 mins. Such a simple detail, make the button look like a button, all those people whom returned these things because they couldnt get them provisioned could have been avoid, and the LIKES number would have been much greater.

    I love the Feit bulbs and smart plugs, because they dont require a separate hub to work, just the Feit Electric app. I got these plugs to get all of our interior Christmas lights on a timer. Theyre much handier than using the old type of plug-in timer, because you can turn them on and off whenever you want from the convenience of your phone.

    Cannot install or program from desktop (Windows) but have use phone, which is much less convenient. Difficult to install, I had to try three times and the instructions are unclear on the alternate methods. Once installed, I discovered that you apparently cannot schedule multiple on-off times during the day. Or, if so, certainly not clear how to do it. Overall disappointing. I returned the item

    I purchased two packages of three Feit Smart Plugs, I was able to program five of them and they all are working perfectly, however, the last one just does program or work. I reached out to Feit, and their policy is to contact the retailer for help. So here I am asking for help. I really like these smart plugs but this one is just too stubborn to work. Hope you can help. Thank you.

    I am not new to smart plugs. I am not new to smart home devices. And these are quite possibly the worst smart plugs I’ve ever dealt with. I installed them, I set them up with Alexa, and they went off-line. I reinstalled them, I set them up with Alexa, and they went off-line. This continued for two days, then I took a break and used another brand. Today, I decided to try them again. Same result. We have other smart devices on the same network, including smart plugs from other companies. Everything else works. These do not. They cannot stay connected to the network, and it takes upwards of 15 minutes to convince the plug to reset so they can be reinstalled…. again. So far, the maximum amount of time they have spent online is six hours. After that, they go offline. I am ready to toss these things out the window with extreme prejudice and chalk up the money spent to a lesson on why you shouldn’t impulse buy smart plugs..

    After much research I was able to call FEIT Headquarters (which they do not readily provide the number) in order to get them to help me with the installation. I was only able to install one of three plugs. The plugs are sensitive to walls and room barriers; so, I had to be right by the lamp in order to turn it on and off. That defeats the purpose of accessing it via the phone. The product clearly is not supported by 5G band which is the 2022 speed in the US. Once I reached their HQ, I found their staff to be very courteous and helpful. I believe that once their engineers work on these issues, this product would be a sell out.
