Willow Tree Hero, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

I purchased this as a retirement gift for a nurse at the VA. I included a note stating she was our mentor and hero. She collects willow tree angels and the gift brought her to tears. Nice purchase and great shipping, packing and on time!

I collect Willow Tree and I bought this one for myself after losing my husband of nearly 50 years. Just recently two friends lost their husbands too so I’m now ordering two more. I know they will treasure them as much as I do.

Beautiful figurine.

I gave this to my father and to my aunt after the funeral of my uncle at Arlington. They were both extremely touched and moved by it. Then I bought one for myself in honor of my uncle. A beautiful mime to and reminder of the sacrifices military members make.

I received this yesterday in the mail and I am ABSOLUTELY in love with it! Perfect! My mother had purchased hers and I saw it and had to have one of my own. Packaging was great and came on time.! I reccomend ALL Willow tree Sculptures they are just beautiful! Thank you! I will be ordering more for my home :)

Beautiful and worthy of my husband’s memory.

I was happy to find this available through an online seller. The Hero Figurine available at Hallmark today has a greenish flag. Other buyers have commented about this. The figurine I purchased in 2007 in remembrance of my father had a blue flag and thats what I wanted to give to my dear friend in remembrance of her husband. The cost was about the same as in the Hallmark stores. The issue was the color of the flag, so thanks to the seller.

A military friend of mine had this and I knew I must purchase it. My husband had passed away, and I just needed something to let everyone know how precious his service was. He had spent two tours in Vietnam and was subjected to Agent Orange. I already had a number of other Willow Tree figurines, and this was just an extra addition. However, it does have its place of honor right next to my husbands flag. I remember when the flag was presented to me. I clutched it right next to my heart and I often think about how special and comforting that moment was. I look at the Willow Tree Hero and know I still have my husband in my heart.

I ordered this item as a gift. It captured a lot of meaning for me and the recipient, whose husband is serving over-seas. It is a well crafted piece that has even survived a toddler handling it. I like that the piece is subtle, yet powerful in its message. It would make a nice gift for anybody who loves the U.S.A. or serves our country.
