> 3 dayWillow Tree figurines do a great job of capturing specific sentiments, and this is no exception. I got this one for my mother - her father was a Korean War veteran and when he passed away his flag was given to her stepmother, who then gave it to one of her brothers. I got her this as a memento and a way to remember Grandpa even though my uncle has the actual flag. She cried when I gave it to her. It truly is a sentimental, beautiful piece.

> 3 dayA military friend of mine had this and I knew I must purchase it. My husband had passed away, and I just needed something to let everyone know how precious his service was. He had spent two tours in Vietnam and was subjected to Agent Orange. I already had a number of other Willow Tree figurines, and this was just an extra addition. However, it does have its place of honor right next to my husbands flag. I remember when the flag was presented to me. I clutched it right next to my heart and I often think about how special and comforting that moment was. I look at the Willow Tree Hero and know I still have my husband in my heart.
