> 3 dayI really enjoy using this gimbal. I have a Sigma 150-600 and it handles the load perfectly. Easy to balance. Had some issues with the longer plate that I bought for it. It seemed to come loose. Didn’t spend much for the extra plate so that may be the reason. If anyone has suggestions, I would entertain them.

> 3 dayI’ve purchased a couple of other gimbals over the years and rented a couple of others. they all had issues, like being too stiff, or not locking down solidly. That is until I rented a Wimberley. That experience convinced me to buy one. I’ve not been disappointed! It is beautifully designed, incredibly smooth, and lens weight doesn’t cause it to sag. Save yourself some money searching for something better and buy the best the first time.

> 3 dayI owned a WH-200 version I so I knew this gimbal mount would be fantastic. It is is expensive relative to some of the mounts you can find in its class but the construction and simplicity of the units design make it worth it. It is very easy to adjust and silky smooth to operate. It is difficult to imagine a more elegant and functional design. Just get it and youll see what I mean.

> 3 dayGreat head, and very agile. The only issue I have with it is packing it. It takes up a tremendous amount of space, and is cumbersome. I have taken it on trips, but have found it more convenient to stow it separately from the rest of my equipment in the box that it was shipped in. I will have to figure out a way to travel with the head more effortlessly.

> 3 dayThe Wimberley WH-200 gimbal is a big unit, but it works extremely well with my D5 and D850 cameras with all sorts of lenses. Its perfect for telephoto lenses because you can balance the weight so its smooth and fast. I changed over to all Arca and bought a few lens plates that fit well.

> 3 dayThe Wimberley Head Version II is nothing short of sheer perfection. I owned a cheaper and non-American made gimbal head in the past with many frustrating annoyances such as: cheap knobs, stiff base for turn left and right, no space to place hand on grip bar, and poor weight distribution system. With the Wimberley Head II, all my annoyances has disappeared.
