    At one time, I have mounted a canon 500mm f4 lens, a pro DSLR body, 1 extension tube, 1 teleconverter, 1 speedlite wireless transmitter, 1 speedlite, better beamer, and an off-camera flash bracket on this side mount. And it has handled the weight of all this equipment with ease. highly recommended for anyone pursuing wildlife photography seriously.

Its gimbal head type design allows you to easily support and manipulate very large lenses for tracking birds and animals.
