Winmau Blade 5 and Blade 6 Bristle Dartboards

Wow! It’s a beauty! I love this board and I have only owned it for three hours. The darts hold perfectly into the quality sisal. The spider is well designed. The colors pop and when the darts fly they look awesome in the air against the backdrop. I almost bought the dual core but this one should last and serve me well. I have no complaints. It comes with the mounting kit and the rota-lock system is a feature that makes mounting the board simple and perfect!

This is a very nice dartboard. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for one. I also got Darts Steel Tip Set from IgnatGames, which I think is a great addition to the set.

The Blade design is awesome. I rarely bounce a dart off the lines. The numbers at times, but not the divider lines! The darts slide right past it. Just a great board and a pleasure to throw into it!

Really happy with this board. I had a Winmau board from about 20 years ago, it was fine, and I finally decided to replace it. This one seems to be quite an upgrade. The wiring is very thin so less chance of darts bouncing out. Not a single bounce out after 10+ games. Mounting system is quite nice and has a very solid feel once installed (I added drywall anchors to the included mounting screws). Id highly recommend this board.

Easy to mount, fairly priced.

The product was as advertised. I reviewed many, many boards for hours and settled on this version and brand. It is in a residential basement game room. I am using 22g darts. So far, the holes do fill in pretty quickly. I use the pull and twist method which seems to be nicer to the sisals. I had kids throw darts hard and end up with one up to the barrel so after pulling out, it left a gaping hole. I used a dart tip and started out aways and pushed in and out all the way around the hole continuing inward. This made the hole slowly disappear. The colors look nice and the numbers look fine. Overall, I am satisfied with this board. Its been a month and about 10 hours on the board. Its still has not had a lot of use so we will see after New Years Eve Party how it looks but I would recommend this version. Also, the biggest thing, I do not think we have had any bounce outs!!!

Excellent board. Top quality, with mounting hardware to sit vertically on any surface. Easy to rotate on the center mount, then move then number ring to get even wear.

This board is awesome. I hit so many more bulls now. Well maybe a couple more. The board is really awesome though compared to the regular wire divider boards. I used too get bounce outs all the time, maybe one in thirty throws. One time a bounce back hit my daughter in the arm. I have never had a bounce back with this board yet. Finally, my daughter is SAFE!

The board itself is nice. The items pictures shows very well that it is hard to read the numbers with the white lettering in the background. I used a magic marker to color all the white lettering and replaced the pewter gray number grid with a white one from another board and now it is good. Very poor decisions on the manufacturers part. I wish i had noticed that sooner as I would have ordered a different one. But after those changes, it is very nice.

I really dont know what to look for in a dartboard other than 1) does it mount on the wall easily, 2) does it stay on the wall, 3) do darts go in, 4) can you read the score, and 5) do the darts come out undamaged. The answer is YES to all! MOUNTING - much easier than it may look as you just hang it and then use three turn dials to create pressure against the wall and the dartboard so the dartboard does not shift or move when playing. Pretty easy and looks professionally installed. STAYS ON WALL - weve used it quite a bit, and it has not shifted or moved at all. It has stayed perfectly in place. DARTS GO IN SMOOTH - No issues with darts on this board. They go in smooth and very limited bounces off of the wires because the wires are tapered to help the dart go into the board as opposed to bounce off. This is nice to protect my tile floor! SCORE READING IS GOOD, NOT PERFECT - the numbers are made in a wire which, as a novice, I do not have locations memorized. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell some numbers and it may make you pause to think. But its fine and manageable. DARTS COME OUT WITHOUT DAMAGE - while there appears to be some limited memory in the dartboard with some holes, overall they either fill back in or they just shrink a little. No real damage to the board and it seems to be holding up just fine. The darts are also not damaged and no issues with them dulling or bending. Overall, a solid board that you cant go wrong with!
