> 3 dayWinsor & Newton Ivory Black oil paint comes in a metal tube, has a very good thickness, good body and stiffness. The pigment holds up well it has the right consistency to work different techniques, it mixes well, and it dries perfectly without distorting colors. It is a very good deal for 1.25 oz. of a high quality product.

Greater than one weekI am not an artist. My opinion on the quality of the actual paint is therefore probably not worth much. Paint: Its red, its thick, and when mixed with a bit of mineral spirits, it is very stinky. The color is rather dull, and not as bright as I had hoped, but thats probably exactly how its supposed to be. Seems to have a bit of a brownish orange cast to it, almost like brick. Oh, by the way, Im also colorblind. Literally. Not figuratively. Just a bit, but enough. Anyway, what Id really like you to know is that the paint arrived packed in a thin walled cardstock box, inside of a padded envelope. Not really how I would have packed it, and I spent several years as a manager and engineer inside the warehousing industry. However, despite that, it was fully intact. Another useful point is that when I opened the tube, the paint had not separated from the oil (at the tube opening anyway) as some others have experienced. Would I recommend it? Sure, why not. Good price (I think?), lots of paint, very smelly. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. No, wait, that was Thanos speaking. Ill just stop now.
