> 3 dayWinsor & Newton oil paint is always reliably good. The student grade paint called Winton is a good choice, if you are finding the professional grade too expensive. The difference between student grade and professional is that the student grade has more medium in it, as compared with the minerals that give you the color. A tube of student grade paint will generally not last as long as professional grade, because it does not provide quite as good of coverage as professional grade. However, if the color is not one that you use much of, the student grade can be a very good choice.

> 3 dayBought this for my parents, (who both got back into oil painting). They were happy to a LARGE tube of a basic color.

> 3 dayThe paint is fine. :D I was also pleased to see the paint comes in a metal tube not plastic. The plastic tubes bug me because they do not squeeze out right.

> 3 dayThis is by far my favorite paint to use. Nice big tubes and it mixes well with my primary colors to create new secondary colors, the paint really pops on my canvas. The only way I would be happier is if they gave me an endorsement deal to use their products permanently ;)
