> 3 dayI have a restless reptile friend that has a problem tossing and turnig all night making a lot of noise and has become grouchy during the day. I use a red heat light at night ,so when i switched it out with this non light emitting light bulb, she now sleeps through the night. I would recommend getting those cage protecter things that encase the bulb if its inside the terrerium UPDATE 4/2/20 I wasnt joking when I said this thing was hot. This is a safety reminder not a complaint. I was working in my skinks terrarium and happened to put the light fixture with the ceramic bulb in it, face down on a wooden shelf. It was on a timer and comes on at 7. I work from 3 to 10, and when I got home I was greater by a faint smoke detector alarm going off. I thought it wasnt me so I took my time. Approaching the door , the alarm got louder, and when I opened the door, the top half of my entire house was filled with smoke. At the time I couldnt figure out where it was coming from. After 40 min. Including climbing up into my attic, I finally realized it was that. Now Im an idiot so again, this is not a bash on the product. It works great. Just be careful where you set it.

> 3 dayThey work very well. I use two or three depending on the ambient temperature to keep my snake’s aquarium warm. I monitor it with a thermometer. He is 26 years old and I have depended on these all of his life!

> 3 dayIve been using these lamps for reptiles and they work great! They last a very long time and put off good heat. I cant complain about natural errors but I did once get one out of the two not working. But that was once out of a few buys.

> 3 dayThis product is by far the best one Ive purchased. Ive had it for about 2 months now and hasnt burned out. It continues to keep the cage at the same temperature as well. For the money,v its super great quality.

> 3 dayI bought these for my bearded dragon to help heat his enclosure without having to add more heat bulbs that just burn out once a month and they are perfect! So far Im still on my first one.

> 3 dayBought these for my chicken coop and so far they are doing great. I also purchased a thermo operated outlet to turn them on and off with temperature. Chickens seem content and are even laying eggs in December and January. They have not done this before so i think it is due to the bulbs installed in the coop. not sure but have had some of these girls for 5 years and this is a first. Anyway, good bulb for the money. About equal to a 100w bulb but these put out no light at all, only heat.
