> 3 dayI purchased this bulb for my chihuahua. During the winter season, I love the house to be freezing cold. Unfortunately, chihuahuas love the heat, and running a traditional space heater for him is wasteful. I dont like that I had to buy two, but it was the best price and review for this sort of bulb. I used the bulb in an office architect style lamp, so I could adjust how close to the couch it would be. It really gets too hot to use in a lamp that isnt specifically designed for heat bulbs. I was a little disappointed that the heat output is short range, (about 8 to 12 inches). Overall, this is a great bulb for lizards but I do not recommend it for chihuahuas.

> 3 dayThese are prefect for rabbit cages, they last along time and put out plenty of heat with no light. Works perfectly

> 3 dayHeat lamp works great, I received it on time but only one of the bulbs worked. The other was broken right off the bat.

> 3 dayVery sturdy and well made. In a heat lamp on top of the cage, they are just enough heat for the plucked bare macaw I just rescued.

> 3 dayThese bulbs last for a long time, and they heat our lizard’s terrarium much better than anything we’ve tried.

> 3 dayWhen I installed one of these ceramic bulbs, it heated my beardies tank for 1 month then stopped working. I tried to switch to the other new one (I ordered the 2 pack) and the other one sadly didn’t work.
