Xbox 360 4GB Console with Kinect

If I had known about the hands free usage before the wii remote flew through my new tv I would have saved myself thousands of dollars. It has so many games that everyone can play. Only problem is that the room is now too small for all the people who want to play.

The XBOX360...hummmm more than what I expected. I own the PS3 and now the slim 360 w/ Kinect and they both are amazing. The speed and the flexibility of the 360s has evolved over the years. Ive tried about every system out there and the 360s is my top 2 pick of the systems that are available. Being that the unit is controlled via YOU, there is the plus of not having to purchase replacement controllers (from being worn out, stepped on, broken (kids) and you have a wider range of control for the games. Note, the kinect is not 100% accurate, and tends to wear on your patience if you are not moving exactly as needed. But overall, this system and peripheral is well worth the buy. So here is my personal breakdown: *GOOD FOR KIDS ages 4-up *HARDCORE GAMERS: plenty of shoot-em ups, role players, action/adventure, and other games that are promising to the core unit of gamers looking for ABSOLUTE graphics, depth of story/game and just the overall FUN factor. *DVD/MUSIC PLAYER-- Great movie viewer! Watch dvds (not bluerays) rent digital copies (watch the space--you only have 4 gigs) and listen to music (via cds/mp3/computer streaming or online thru LIVE FM) *The hardware (CONSOLE UNIT) is smaller, touch sensitive (makes a cool ding when opening, lighter, fans are quiter and the unit looks slick. The kinect is kinda large but cool/creepy when it moves by itself (repositions for better viewing angles) The Kinect -- takes getting use to but will grab your whole living rooms attention. From the dancing games to the shooters, the kinect is fun to use. Note, please calibrate the sensor and mount it towards the top of the screen for a better viewing angle. There are plenty of mounts found here on Amazon that you can purchase to mount securly. Microsoft really packs the unit with plenty to do. Be sure to check out the XBOX LIVE section of the dashboard to receive plenty of updates, info on new games/products and learn more about your system. Just explore, you cant really mess too much up...but we all know some people will. Just as a note of help, just remember; IF YOU MESS IT UP, YOU HAVE TO CONTACT MICROSOFT IT SUPPORT (insert fail music here...lol...but they are getting better.) At first there was trouble with FED EX losing my package. But the people at Best Tech quickly sent another xbox 360 bundle to me just in time for my sons graduation. Was really impressed with the customer service, received quick responses. The xbox and kinnect is super fun and we enjoy playing it together :)

So far so good loving this only tried the Kinect once just to see if it work seems to be lots of fun going to get a different game like bowling to really give it a roll.

I had played on another 360 for years before getting my own. I liked and was fairly used to the menu set-up. Right after I got an X-box of my own Microsoft changed the user interface in a really lame way. Thats my only critique. The system and components work just as they shoudl

This is so much fun. The kinect uses your own body to control the game. Everyone who plays is up moving around. My four year old all the way up to my dad enjoy the games. The only issue is that you do have to learn some coordination to play and stay in your area.

It was a very good product in the beggining. That was the problem. My son-in-law liked so much that he took it away and he does not want to give me back.

This game console has been a lot more fun than I expected it to be. I did not know how much fun the kinect system was gonna be. My kids love to play the interactive games and its nice to see them moving rather than sitting while gaming. I also really like the access to Netflix and Vudu. I think my days of driving to the video store are officially over...yeah!

Get this while you can for only $199 from Amazon. I went to the local stores trying to get this and quickly turned around after seeing the lines and knowing that they were going to sell out. This normally cost $299 but you can order it from Amazon with Free shipping for $199 which is the black friday price. This is one of the best deals you will find, dont miss out because you never know when they are going to sell out.
