This bowl is perfect in terms of its height and bowl size for my 15 year old Chihuahua mix. Im taking one star off because the bowl easily chips. One small slip during washing results in chipped edges. Im on third bowl.

After I received the 1st, I ordered another one. Very Nice! Nice size and I like the fish design on the front to. A cute touch!. My cats are enjoying them too.

My (extremely large) cat used to scarf all his dry food out of the bowl Id leave out for him; hed be crying for more around lunch time. For whatever reason, when I switched to this bowl it slowed down his eating. I have no idea why - I still leave out the same amount of dry food, but now theres always a few extra kibbles left by dinner time, and no more crying cat trying to trip me every time I walk out of the kitchen (unless its dinner time - thats when he gets wet food and thats a whole other beast). My guess is hes more comfortable eating now so he doesnt rush his meals. Whatever the reason, its a wonderful little bonus! The dish itself is super cute, very sturdy (my guy weighs about 24 pounds and hasnt knocked it off the ledge its on yet), and super easy to clean. Im back to get another two bowls to use on his wet food. Maybe the same magic will happen and hell eat less of that too (hey, a gal can dream!).

My cat its an elderly gentlemen. Dont have teeth and the size of it maked easier for him to eat without speel on the floor. And aldo in my opinion its good for a small to medium Dog. It is ceramic and well made.

My cat is eighteen years old and suffers from arthritis and kidney disease. She was spending most of her days and nights sleeping and was losing weight so quickly that we thought she would be gone by the end of March. The vet made some recommendations about medications and food to help, but I wasnt able to get her to eat enough to gain back any weight until I found tall cat bowls. One of the bowls I found and bought on Amazon was the Yangabaga Raised bowl. It has made a great deal of difference in her ability to eat more. She has been gaining enough weight and with it the strength to go up and down the stairs, and to go outside again for short periods of time. She has also reasserted her Alpha cat status over our two younger cats. We have another tall cat bowl that we also like, but the Yangabaga bowl is taller and has deeper sides, which are both advantages for a tall cat like ours.

Liked the color (white) and the design. Liked the fact my cat will eat out of it as she is a spoiled cat. Didnt like the fact that it didnt have a non-skid bottom and it had a chip on the side. Other than that its a great feed dish for my cat.

My Siamese, Molly, is now 13 years old. Several years ago, all of her teeth had to be removed because of a periodontal disease prone to Siamese breeds. So she eats little bits of dried food but prefers shredded wet food. I had no idea that there was such a thing as whisker fatigue. Whisker fatigue is the cats whiskers hitting on boundaries when they stick their heads into something, such as a hole or a door or a feeding dish. This dish is heavy, and looks pretty. It is elevated so that Molly is not having to lap her food upwards just to get it into her mouth, so she is able to eat more, and more easily. It is wide, so her whiskers are not hitting the sides, so this helps her stay longer at her bowl and she eats more. I am very pleased that I happened upon the article regarding whisker fatigue and that this bowl seems to have helped her eat the more nourishing wet food. I highly recommend this bowl.

Very satisfied with this purchase. The bowls were much bigger than I thought. Its wide like a human food bowl but not that deep. Its puurfect for my one year old cat who is long and gaining weight. Great height as she no longer has to bend down or crouch to eat. Easy to clean and sturdy so its not moving all around when she eats.

Bought for my cat who has digestive issues. The raised bowl seems to help. Very well made
