> 3 dayThis is a nice extension cable, but for $70+ it should be better. Only one end of the cable (the socket end) is lit. The plug end is not lit. The light is a neon bulb which is hard to see in daylight and can only been seen from one side of the socket. If the light happens to be pointed toward the floor, you may not see it lit. I think the cable should be better lit, and lit at both ends. Ive also seen much heavier-duty plug contacts on the plug end of the cable. These seem to be standard plug contacts. They move easily in the plug body, seems like it wont be long before theyre mushed and mashed and melted out of place making it hard to plug in. I assume the socket contacts are regular duty as well. There should be more strain relief on the cable ends. The only relief is about 1/4 of clear plastic on the socket/plug, which are only a little heavier-duty then standard cable socket/plugs. I think 6-8 of heavier plastic would be warranted for this price. I would not buy again.

> 3 dayIts much safer to have a heavy cord like this. The construction is very good and it will not heat up like other cords when you use if for high wattage gear like an Electric BBQ or a big battery charger. Like always Amazon shipped fast and had the best deal. Get this cord or the other lengths offered and you will not be disappointed.

> 3 dayThis cord was available locally but at almost double the price. Many national stores sell this product so its easy to check it out before buying. Cord came packaged exactly as I saw locally, shipped free from Amazon, and half the price what more needs to be said except this quality cord will probably be the last extension cord I ever buy. Rugged, flexible, and not that heavy.

> 3 dayNice heavy duty ext. cord You cant go wrong with this. Most people dont use a heavy duty cord when they use heavy duty tools. This can damage the motor and even cause a fire. Match the tool and cord.

> 3 dayIve had this cord for a few years . It worked good , but when the ground plug fell out i realized that the home depot and lowes stopped selling them . I have been e- mailing coleman cable ( found they made this )and never have gotten a reply . Now I know why the big stores dont sell them . There is no customer service ! Maybe this review will get their attention . Buyers beware of these people . When I bought this I thought there was a warrentee . Guess not !
