> 3 dayYou need to do your homework when using extension cords with power hogs such as power tools, etc. There is a phenomenon known as line drop which refers to the amount of amperage/wattage that is gobbled up by undersized wire. The result is that your power tool gets a diet portion of electricity. Even though the tools operates normally the windings in the motor are starved for electricity and heat up. That is how tools get burned out. So even though an extension cord with a #12 wire is difficult to haul around because of the weight it is well worth it. Now is you are just running some lights then a small cord is fine.

> 3 dayThis is the best extension cord Ive ever had. Its super flexible, durable, doesnt get tangled, very thick, dirt doesnt stick to it, and I like that the plug lights up to let you know it has power. Also like the high visibility yellow color.

> 3 dayYou definitely get the sense of quality from this puppy. I hope it lasts with being dragged over concrete; well see. It says it contains lead, which is not great, but I guess it makes it tougher that way maybe. Good cord.

> 3 dayOne of the more expensive cords. I have had it for two years. Works great with my snow blower even in -30C weather! It is heavy but works in tough conditions.

> 3 dayIt seems to be well made but I bought it to run my Electric Snow Blower and as it has turned out to be a much warmer fall than usual I still have not been able to determine how it is affected by the cold, i.e. does ti retain its flexibility when very cold. It is also quite heavy so I would only use this for equipment requiring minimum loss over the length, i.e. for big draws of current, like my snow blower. If I change my mind on the rating I will update this review later on, once I can get to use for it for what I intended it for.
