Yeowww! 100% Organic Catnip Toy, Yellow Banana 3 Pack

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. Thought it was a little pricy, but it got great reviews. About the size of a medium banana and very banana yellow. Within a few days, it was fairly disgusting looking because my two cats attacked it, slobbered on it and carried it around the house non-stop. Its also large enough so my big cat can hold it to his chest and rabbit-claw the crap out of it with his back feet. The original banana was beginning to come apart and was waaay too disgusting to go into my sewing machine, so I decided to replace it. Considering how long it had lasted and the amount of abuse heaped on it by my cats, I had to rethink my initial thought that its pricey. Cheap at twice the price and the three-pack is even more cost effective. Buy them, your cats will thank you.

My cat is so obsessed with this banana. He will play this every day for at least 10 minutes. On average one banana can last 2 weeks before my cat tears it down

Best nip toy on the market. Lasts for years. This is the Acapulco gold of nip. I won’t buy anything else. I’m surprised my cat doesn’t go on here and order these himself to satisfy his nip addiction.

This is the second time I bought this item. The first one my cats played with for two years and it still gives them pleasure so I surprised them with new ones this Christmas.

I havent seen a cat who does not love this toy! Even my 15 yr old kitty still plays with it.

This is the best cat toy I have purchased. My cat is absolutely addicted to these. I am happy I can buy them in bulk, as he destroys them in about 3 days. I have given these to friends and family and no other cat seems to treat them quite the way mine does... He will play with them for hours, then finally hug them and begin to chew them open. Once hes gotten an end of the banana open, he starts to lick all the catnip out. This is usually where I throw it away and get another one from the freezer (as other reviewers have noted, this both contains the catnip smell and keeps the catnip fresh). If I wait too long, I come home to a bunch of empty yellow fabric and my darling Nigel rolling around blissfully in a pile of catnip. He has other toys that he plays with and no other destructive behaviors, he just... loves tearing open these bananas. I have purchased other catnip toys from this brand (the rainbows, the lemon, the apple and a pumpkin) which have all eventually met the same death as the bananas, but he doesnt carry them around the house and hug them the way he does the bananas. If it keeps my fat little former stray happy, I will buy him all the bananas he wants.

Its durable & lasts a long time.

Got a three pack for my three cats and they all went to town the moment I opened the package. Perfect size and shape for hugging and bunny kicking. The fabric is sturdy and sewn well. The potency does wear off like all catnip and theyre not refillable without a little effort and needle & thread. Once the smell starts to weaken Ill put them in the microwave for 5-10 sec. til theyre warm to the touch, which helps reactivate it. Be sure to stand by the microwave bc I forgot mine once and it ended badly for the banana.

This isnt the first time I have ordered this banana as my older cat LOVES them. I walked in today with the package and her head jerked up. She rubbed against me. Then I produced the banana. She hasnt given me the time of day since, but she is still playing with the banana. She isnt one to let me see her playing with her toys that often. My younger cat has interrupted this review to know where his is, so I do strongly recommend the multi-packs if one has more than one kitty master.

3 different kitties have now told me they like this catnip toy over any other. I dont know why - fresher, stronger, catnip perhaps? A while back I even purchased a similar catnip toy from the same manufacturer, only it was rainbow-colored - nope! It had to be the yellow banana. Cats really go nuts over these!
