Greater than one weekI like this lid! It turned my 18 oz Rambler bottle into a great commuter mug (which doubles as a self defense weapon! Its super heavy and strong!). The original lid was no good to me if driving or on public transit where I only have one hand free. This lid is very quick and easy to open, sips easily, closes easily. Its hard to open one handed but can be done, especially if you can set it down while youre doing it. A HUGE perk is that it far easier to disassemble and wash than any other travellers mug lid Ive seen; there no weird cracks and crevases that you cant clean. Here are the important PROS: - Fully leakproof - Very durable - Easy to clean (Dishwasher safe, too!) - Quick to open/close, just 1/4 turn - Insulates pretty well - works on any of the YETI Bottles (but NOT on their tumblers! Take note!!) Here are the CONS: - Big and heavy (like all things YETI) - Tricky, but not impossible, to open one-handed - Might forget to close it and spill, no indicator when open or closed - Pricey! Felt like a lot to spend on just a lid, but I expect it will last a LONG time - Wish this was the default lid that came with all YETI Rambler bottles! Again, I love my YETI and look forward to my biceps getting bigger as a result of hefting the substantial weight regularly! I dont think it will ever wear out so losing it is my only concern fear.

Greater than one weekBUYER BEWARE: Hot liquids put your drink under pressure, the pressure build up forces hot liquid to leak out of the outer screw area. AKA where the outer rubber gasket screws into the Rambler. I was very excited to receive this Hot Shot Rambler lid. However, after filling it twice with hot coffee and hot water, both times the outer gasket ring leaked. The second time, hot liquid was actually shooting out of the side of the lid where it met the metal bottle. I examined the waterproof gasket ring and noticed there are factory holes about every inch around the diameter. These rings appear to be the cause for the leaks and the hot liquid streaming out of the rambler. I love yeti products, but this one is a NO GO. Save yourself 15 bucks and look elsewhere.

> 3 dayI love this cap. My only gripe is that sometimes I forget that I left it open, but it’s my fault. Otherwise you can sort of open it with one hand if you keep the bottle squeezed in your legs. But yeah, love my yeti and love this cap.

> 3 dayThe flow rate isn’t too good. Also, if you don’t have a small nose, it’s awkward to drink out of.

Greater than one weekI live in Alaska. I was working outside in 15*f. I decided to try 18 oz. Yeti Rambler with this hot drink cap. Filled it with hot coffee and sipped it all day. I had ice on outside of cup and yet the coffee stayed very drinkably warm for 5 hours. While not exactly hot, the last sip was still warm. I think this definitely passes the test. I sealed it after each sip. This cap is easy to drink from without burning the tongue. While expensive it is worth it in frigid temps.
