YETI Rambler Bottle Hot Shot Cap Accessory

I have 3 of these. I love them but this one keeps somehow closing by itself. I take a drink, set it down, go to take another drink and have to turn it. I love this style. I use it every day but this one is not good.

It was a Christmas gift to my son in addition to the Yeti Rambler. It’s sweet, no hassle drinking, easy to take apart and clean. I’m having a serious case of coffee cup envy.

This is a replacement cap. The original has held up well, but I started noticing a weird smell/taste in my coffee even though I wash the mug and lid assembly every night after use. Well, there are (3) rubber gaskets in the lid assembly. They are a little difficult to remove, but when I did I found mold and nasty stuff underneath, so I got the new lid. Now that I know, I can be more mindful about trying to get those off and cleaned. They blended in so well and are on there so tight I never even thought of taking them off to clean—my own fault.

This is the biggest and best innovation in this vacuum bottle world. This is the reason yeti cups are more expensive. This really lifts them above anyone else.

Seems to fit well but coffee liquids will dribble out slowly when you dont .

I like that this too is easier to clean than the others and it doesn’t take much to opens there top and drink out of it. The downside to this top is you never know if you closed it all the way. I had it in the floor near my bed and I accidentally knocked it over spilled a whole bunch of water on the rug and I’ve done this more than once. Not sure what the answer is except to make sure the top is closed all the way every time you put it down

Be sure to carefully read. Even unopened this item cannot be returned and we are now stuck with a lid that does not fit our yeti.

Keeps the coffee on the inside, even through drops and falls. It’s a little easy to scratch, but I don’t take it to fashion shows.

So I have had the Yeti 18oz Rambler for a while, but have not used it as much as I would have liked because when I have put coffee in it and used the screw top lid, it always drips condensation (and coffee) everywhere ... especially annoying when driving. Just purchased the Hot Shot Cap and put it through the test. Easy to clean ( you can completely unscrew the middle part). No leaks (the last pic is real ... there is coffee in there still!). Cannot believe how a small accessory can make me so happy.
