Definitely leak proof and sturdy! However being that it’s plastic the smell of coffee will forever linger. The gaskets are also Smelly. The inside turning mechanism SHOULD HAVE A BETTER WAY TO BE CLEANED as opposed to having just water and soap run through. The above is especially true if traveling with item And you can’t find anywhere to clean it properly. It really should be able to be taken apart and come with extra gaskets.

Ive had issues with other YETI products saying they fit a certain sized items and it doesnt. This fits my 18oz Rambler perfectly and never leaks, even when in my backpack and riding a bike.

Description of product is not true. States will fit any rambler product. I specifically bought the 10 oz rambler and this cap to go together and it does not fit the 10 oz rambler. Not even close. Love the Yeti products, but very disappointed by this.

First off the body of this thing is HEAVY relative to a Hydroflask or Zojirushi. Its made with heavyweight stainless thats highly resistand to drops or cruching forces. The amount of vacuum between the walls keeps this hot/cold for long periods of time. The only negative is the lid assembly. First of all its heavy too, made from all plastic, no metal, and a couple rubber gaskets. The entire center section threads away from the main body, which has the threads molded to fit into the bore of the stainless container. You twist the center knob about a queater turn until you feel resistance. This is the open position which allows fluid to flow ANYWHERE around the circumference of the lid. Turn it to the left again, passing the resistance and it comes completely apart for cleaning. Be aware that as you use this it can be comfusing wether its open or not because you cant tell just by looking at it. There are NO MARKINGS indicating open/closed.

I absolutely love it! I use it daily and it has quickly become my go-to for all of my beverage needs. The cap is incredibly easy to use and is even dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning a breeze. I use mine every day. I paired mine with the yeti rambler Jr. It fits all rambler bottles. It is very durable. It is leak proof, I put mine in my lunch bag every morning and by the time I get to work it is usually sideways and has never spilled a drop.
