> 3 dayI bought it for my wife’s as a gift, she thought it was over the top spending that much on a cooler until she left it in the car for three days when it was 110° outside, and she was very surprised when she opened it it only had about an inch of water in the bottom of the ice was still there .

> 3 dayI bought a larger Yeti and LOVE it ! Bought this one for shorter road trips and super disappointed. Pre cool it and contents…check. Realized that once full (with not many chilled items) it was too heavy to lift into car. Take back into house, re-chill yeti and items. Put Yeti into car, then bring down frozen ice packs again, then carry chilled food items down to yeti. One by one. Yeti finally packed and in car (20 minutes late thanks to Yeti ) 3 hour road trip. Arrive with food in this Yeti barely cool. Definitely NOT cold. 3 hours. In an air conditioned car. Ice melted. Top closed and latched. All directions followed. Just not a good cooler. Equal to a styrofoam cooler, I guess the better side is It didn’t leak water. Otherwise, it equals a styrofoam cooler which was really surprising. The larger Yeti I bought was fantastic. This one sucked.

> 3 dayIt is a nice looking cooler and fits drinks well. Not sure it works any better than my $30 Colman. I wish it had a drain plug so I could let a little water out as the ice melts. Especially when I am using it for food.

> 3 dayWorks great but it’s too big for travel. Why would yeti stop making the 20 which was perfect size for the spot between the seats in back.

> 3 dayWent on vacation to Miami and used this cooler for snacks and drinks. We ended up leaving it unopened for two weeks inside our car. Drinks and snacks inside the car melted or spoiled after one day in the intense heat. I expected to find a mess inside our Yeti when I opened it, but the chocolate candy was still fresh inside their wrappers! We also had quite a few uncrustible sandwiches inside that were also fine. They were thawed, but not rotten or melted away inside their wrappers. I was thoroughly impressed with this little cooler. I had used two freeze packs, which are now back in my freezer, getting ready for the next job. I should have been greeted by a living mass of peanut butter, chocolate, jelly and bread, but I wasnt. I thought Id be paying for a trendy name, but I obviously purchased a product that does what it says, and more. If I need a bigger one, I will come back to Yeti, for sure.

> 3 dayThe only suggestion to this roadie would be wheels. It does well behind the seat of the truck…haven’t tried it in my car yet.
