> 3 dayI bought it for my wife’s as a gift, she thought it was over the top spending that much on a cooler until she left it in the car for three days when it was 110° outside, and she was very surprised when she opened it it only had about an inch of water in the bottom of the ice was still there .

> 3 dayTypical quality found in all Yeti products. I bought my youngest son the largest cooler that was offered by Yeti last year, and he loved it so much I bought one of the smaller versions for this Christmas. Not cheap, but good value.

> 3 dayDamn this thing is heavy! Even more so when filled. I pre-chilled chest before setting out on trip, then used new ice for packing food. That’s the way to do it, folks. If you use same pre-chilling ice to pack food, chest will not stay as cold for as long as stated. When packed ice melted, it filled cooler with some ice water, which helped retain chilling of contents. So avoid draining it off. It is deep, and that may bode well for wine bottles, but hard to get at other things. I partitioned cooler into two sections using flexible plastic chopping board cut to size, which helps find things. End result—Pro: chill factor. Con: it’s weight. I am too old to lug this small beast around and quite frankly, strained my back while lifting this when full. Going to try Igloo.

> 3 dayYeah it’s expensive, but if you’re looking to keep food cold without electricity for 4+ days, buy this cooler. It works! I set out camping on a Monday morning, and drinks are still ice cold Friday night. You will need to pre chill with one 8 lb. bag of ice. That bag will melt within several hours. Add the second bag and go for over 94 hrs.! Makes for a great small table or seat too!

> 3 dayI have a camper van and the frig leaves a lot to be desired. So have tried several different configurations of Yetis. This looked like they designed it for the space where I put the roadie 20. More capacity, less footprint.. it wud be perfect if it kept ice they way the 20 did. Nope. Filled it with cold beer (10 cans), a bottle of wine, tons of ice and two 2lb Yeti ice Packs. Within 12 hours (and not opening it), half the ice melted and ice pack mostly fluid. Disappointed for sure. I’m going it one more try over a weekend in the van and then request to return it... I think the new latches don’t close tight enough... Update: not nearly as good as the other Yetis I have. After 8 hours, without opening it, the ice is starting to melt together into big chunks. In order to use the ice in a drink, I have to use the end of a wooden spoon to chip away at it!! And yes, I always pre-chill it. And I use two 2 lb Yetis ice blocks. And I always put COLD beer in it. So its back to the Roadie 20 for my weekends at work. And I do admit, not have a drain is a pain. 10/31/20.
