YETI Roadie 24 Cooler

This cooler is the perfect size to take on road trips or day hiking. Very sturdy and rugged, and the perfect size for us since we usually have lots of other stuff to pack in the car along with it. We were looking for something portable that wasnt the bagged tote, and this fit the bill. Easy enough to carry, but not something youd want to lug around. If you have the time to pre-plan, its better to fill it with ice before you need to pack it to get the cooler itself very cold. That way you dont have to put so much ice in it with your food/drinks, giving you more space inside.

Would have given 5 stars if lid had not warped and now we have a sunken “dip” in lid that you cannot sit a drink on or it will fall and spill. Other than that flaw, it has been inside camper entire time and the ice stays frozen for days. We love the Yeti brand, just wish lid was flat!

Tough and reliable

I have a hard wired fridge in my van but the freezer is too small. I bought this to hold ice for drinks. It fits so perfectly in Promaster 2500 passenger seat or floor for solo travel but it also fits between the seats. It has kept ice for 6 days in Florida and makes a great stool for my 63 200+ Lbs husband. Love it!!

Arrived well packaged and perfect condition. I bought a single internal basket separately as well as the cushion which both work perfectly. Now what you need to know about the Yeti Ice packs. Buy two separate two lb Yeti blocks. They are made to perfectly fit in the bottom, side by side. The Yeti ice block and tall bottle(s) of wine will not fit on top of each other, so if you buy a single 4 lb block you dont have the option, and wine might not always fit. Admittedly some shorter bottles of wine WILL fit, on top of a Yeti block, but I have found some of the tall bottles will not. But if you buy the 2 lb Yeti blocks you can stack the two to the opposite side and leave the room you need for your tall wine bottles. The best for flexibility. Hope that helps!

Love the height. Just big enough for some wine bottles or a 12 pack or long necks. It does its job, keeps stuff cold.
