  • Now Dads cool..

Pictured for comparison is this Yeti 35 vs this Rtic 65. With only a $9 difference, compared to size difference, going with the Rtic is a no brainer. Unless you just have to have the yeti brand, I highly recommend the Rtic 65 rotomold cooler! Rtic in all honesty out performed the yeti with cooling retention. BY FAR. (Yeti was VERY disappointing, placed ice in cooler inside house and was surprised the next morning half of it was melted, INSIDE the house over night, perhaps a faulty unit who knows, but price and size hade going with Rtic quick) This Yeti 35 is enough for 6 cans and some snacks with ice. Not very practical for more than one person. The Rtic on other hand.. well you can see, easily fits 48 cans and snacks) Hope this helps.

This Yeti is amazing. I love the tray inside that keeps some items up above. I use it for camping and also for just hanging out in my truck in case I pick up take-out or groceries.

I got this cooler as a Christmas gift for a friend. He loved the color and size. He has been impressed with how long ice stays frozen. It fits perfect in the back of his truck.

We have wanted either a cooler that can plug into 12 volt or electric or a better one like a Yeti. We had ordered a plug in cooler but it came damaged so we returned it and figured if it can crack apart that easy in shipping it would not hold up camping. We have heard Yetis hold ice and coolness a long time so decided to try on and very happy to report after 8 days still had some of our original frozen ice bottles. Now in a warmer climate we are using ice and in and out of it and it still retains the ice for days, very happy!

Best Yeti great! So convenient for folks who need super cold beverages when going to outdoor activities!

Had my expectations a little to high, I work in roofing and I would take it up on the job site and ice would simply not last as long as I thought but still a good cooler nun the less

I have had lots of different coolers, from Igloo, RTIC, Coleman, you name it. I was really hoping that Yeti would be a cut above, so I finally got one to keep sports drinks, waters, and an occasional beer in for ball practice and just here and there trips. This tundra doesnt keep ice, pre-cooled, unopened for more than 2 days, just cool water after 2 days. I am disappointed, I could get this performance from a much cheaper cooler.

Tundra 35 Cooler

Meet the original YETI the Tundra. This was our baby. Where it all started. Where we took our frustrations with cheap coolers and over-engineered the hell out of them. We ended up creating a whole new category of coolers with legendary toughness and famed ice retention. And now we make the rugged, all-purpose Tundra in enough sizes to fit any outdoor adventure. There’s a good bit of its DNA in all the other gear we make too, in the form of patented and envied innovations. We’re proud to see the Tundra has grown up to be the father of all coolers.

NeverFail Hinge System: Two hinge pins and interlocking design prevent the hinge from ever breaking.

T-Rex Lid Latches: Patented design uses heavy-duty rubber so you"ll never see another busted latch.

Certified Bear-Resistant FatWall Design: Extra-thick walls hold up to three inches of insulation for unmatched ice retention.

ColdLock Gasket: A freezer-quality gasket circles the length of the lid to block out the heat and lock in the cold.

LipGrip Handles Stay out of the way and make carrying your catch seem less of a chore.

DoubleHaul Handles Made with military-grade polyester rope for extra durability.

Rotomolded Construction: Makes it armored to the core and virtually indestructible.

BearFoot Non-Slip Feet: Prevent sliding to keep your YETI in place.

Vortex Drain System: Leakproof, rugged, and designed for quick and easy draining.

PermaFrost Insulation: Pressure-injected commercial-grade polyurethane foam in the walls and lid makes sure your ice stays ice.

InterLock Lid System: Creates a form-fitting barrier against the heat.

AnchorPoint Tie-Down Slots: Molded tie-down slots for easy mounting to your boat, trailer, or truck bed.
