YETI Tundra 35 Cooler

> 3 dayI made and stored meals for a hotel convention in this and didnt have to change the ice packs out for the entire 5 days. I wish I wouldve bought maybe one size up because some of my containers didnt fit well. I stored 2 large ice packs, 3 qt containers, 4 pint containers, and multiple 1/2 cup containers and Ziploc bags.

> 3 dayI have several Yeti coolers of all sizes. They all stay secure and cold for several days even in direct sunshine out on the lake. But this one seems to be eating my ice. It has taken a fresh bag of ice daily because it melts too fast. The Yeti I replaced with this one takes a bag every 3-4 days in the same climate. Maybe this one is defective or maybe this size of cooler just doesn’t stay cold. Either way I never thot I would give any of my Yeti’s anything other than a 5 star rating. But this one hasn’t impressed me at all and I will going back to my old one.

> 3 dayWe finally broke down and bought a yeti - what a difference! There are some reviews of ice melting overnight but I’m guessing they did not pre prep the cooler. The key is to put at least one bag the night before and let it prep - if you do this - you will have ice for days! If not - well you’ll have cold water at least.

Greater than one weekYes, they are expensive but they really work well to keep thing cool. Less space inside than cheaper coolers due to the thick insulation.

Greater than one weekNice cooler acceptable price if you don’t trash your things. I didn’t thread the plug when it arrived and was a little loose so it leaked the first time i used it.

> 3 dayI had no issues with this cooler. Holds my ice a few days about 4 days then it turns to cold water. This would be when I fill it about 75 percent with ice or 15 pounds of ice. I can sit on it no issues. Perfect size for a lunch and a few drinks or an 18 pack of beer.

> 3 dayI always heard Yetis are amazing but have now learned it doesn’t keep ice frozen any longer than my $40 cooler. It’s also much heavier than I expected when empty. Knowing me, I’ll lose the drain plug eventually since it’s not attached in any way. Sorry to say, I’m disappointed enough to return it. I do like the non-skid pads on the bottom and the rope handles but not $275 worth. Sorry Yeti… I was excited to finally bring you into my life but I’m afraid our relationship isn’t going to work out. Boo-hoo.

> 3 dayThis is a great cooler but I got caught up in the brand hype. There are other comparable options that at least are made in the usa. Lid seal is disappointing. The rubber seal seems to be pinched/deformed flat, maybe from sitting in inventory, there is a distinct plastic to plastic sound when you close the lid. Since the rubber seal doesnt actually seal, there is condensation that builds up around the joint and the cooler leaks water like a waterfall if you tip it on an angle. Dont fall for the brand, at this cost there are other equal or obviously better options.
