YETI Tundra 35 Cooler

> 3 dayI didnt believe it until I saw it. Recovering from shoulder and ankle surgeries and needed a lot of ice readily available. Have an ice maker. Ice in this cooler lasts for DAYS! Granted, the cooler is sitting in my house but a coleman cooler of approximately the same capacity had NO ice after HOURS under same conditions. I am a camper so this will be a great asset while traveling. Pros: Badass cooler, heavy duty construction, many accessories available Cons: EXPENSIVE, target for thieves (will steal the COOLER not the stuff inside!) I recommend this to anyone who is serious about extending the life of their ice!

> 3 dayYeti is what it’s known for. Cooler is perfect and gets the job done, for long periods of time.

> 3 dayMy refrigerator broke down and while still under warranty, it was going to take 9 days for the manufacturer to send someone out to fix it. Had to buy a cooler to make it through until then. Ice is $5 a bag where I live. Considered getting a cheap cooler just to get by. I read tons of reviews But if the ice wasn’t going to last more than a couple of days, I’d be running to buy 2 bags of ice every other day. I bit the bullet and sprung for a better quality cooler. Glad I did. Ice lasted 4 days. Interior stayed cold enough for another day and could have pushed it longer. Very well made. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayWhen you say how well it keeps ice, does that mean never opening to get drinks out? Because it might work like that. But insanely heavy. Huge on the outside while smaller than expected on the inside. It is not the Tardis. Wish I had just gotten another igloo.

09-06-2025It is a nice cooler but soooooo overpriced (and HEAVY when loaded). This was a gift for someone who wanted this name brand only. It is sturdy and Im sure it will last but it is no better than my less expensive cooler for keeping stuff cold. On our camping trip the ice in both coolers melted at the same rate and mine cost $210 less and has the same features. Not knocking it, but if money is the equalizer there are more reasonable choices.

> 3 daySpending this amount of money on a cooler is crazy; I waited a year and went through two other coolers before I bit the bullet and bought one. It is not very convenient to carry, I wish it came with wheels like my Igloo. The only downside is that in order to get the max Ice retention ability, like you would need before a car camping trip during hot weather, it needs to be seasoned with Ice a couple of days before you leave. Two days before we leave I buy a sacrificial bag of Ice to get the cooler to temperature. The day we leave I empty it, put in a fresh bag, it holds about 14 pounds of ice, depending on cube size, and the ice will frozen for 6 days! As I would expect with a cooler of this size and construction it is very heavy especially when full.

> 3 dayYeti cooler fits great in the back of the car. Use it to bring cold groceries home from the store.

> 3 dayWe followed the instructions and put frozen food in the cooler for a three day trip and the food was still frozen. Exactly what we wanted!
