The hose was excellent but the size was incorrect This hose was 78 not 80 that was the issue

I use it to remove bad fumes for my portable AC.

My original exhaust duct disintegrated. This one fit right on my air conditioner, just like the original, and it works great. I can be cool in the workshop again...

this looks like a decent product. However it would not fit my machine and I returned it.

This item fit my portable air conditioner perfectly. It was actually easier to install than the hose that came with the unit.

They fit the same look the same, but I think they arent as thick as the original that came with the Air conditioner we bought.

I needed a replacement for a potable air unit and did my research. Everyones selling replacements for the big brands but as far as I could tell, only 2 common sizes on these. One about 5 inches, one about 6. I had one about 6, so ordered this one which is supposed to be a direct replacement but low and behold was slightly bigger than the one I had. It would not screw into fittings, nor was it big enough to go over them and clamp. My solution if this happens to you is that I used 2 small pieces my old hose as couplers for fittings. They actually threaded into this hose. I gave a few stars because I was able to is it with some work. Quality also looks ok. Seemed just like old one when was new. Disappointing because I could have ordered original replacement but was twice as much but assumed this would fit and it really should have since I have a big brand a.c. Beware. Next Time I might just spend the extra to make sure it fits. Dont let this happen to you.

doing what it is supposed to. it connected to the a/c hose that comes with the unit. however, the hose that attaches to the cooler doesnt stay attached. we ended up duct taping it to the a/c.

Everything was great.
