> 3 dayThe threads on this are 3/4 and what you really need is 5/8 so they end up leaking the hot exhaust air. You will want to find ones that are the right thread pitch.

> 3 dayI needed a replacement for a potable air unit and did my research. Everyones selling replacements for the big brands but as far as I could tell, only 2 common sizes on these. One about 5 inches, one about 6. I had one about 6, so ordered this one which is supposed to be a direct replacement but low and behold was slightly bigger than the one I had. It would not screw into fittings, nor was it big enough to go over them and clamp. My solution if this happens to you is that I used 2 small pieces my old hose as couplers for fittings. They actually threaded into this hose. I gave a few stars because I was able to is it with some work. Quality also looks ok. Seemed just like old one when was new. Disappointing because I could have ordered original replacement but was twice as much but assumed this would fit and it really should have since I have a big brand a.c. Beware. Next Time I might just spend the extra to make sure it fits. Dont let this happen to you.
