These bulbs are waterproof. And they warm up instantly. They work well in refrigerator or freezer application. Have the equivalent of 40W. Very bright and last a long time.

Used these to replace both the blown bulbs in our GE refrigerator. They fit perfectly and were the same size as the ones that came with the refrigerator. They are nice and bright and would definitely recommend them. Considering the previous incandescent ones lasted for close to 15 years, I hope I dont have to change these ever again.

The brightness is amazing. So white. My old bulbs gave off a yellowish tint. Makes the inside of the refrigerator look brand new

We have a 2-year old Frigidaire refrigerator that had a single 40w incandescent bulb. The original bulb (as you can see) has a bluish-cast to the bulb. It was bright, but I didnt realize what I was missing (or rather not seeing) until I swapped it out for the 60w-equivalent LED bulb. Big difference ... especially towards the bottom of the refrigerator - so much brighter (but Im unfairly comparing 60w-equiv to 40w). I also appreciate the daylight temp of the bulb. The LED bulb is slightly longer than the original incandescent bulb, but I installed the new bulb with zero issues.

Ive had these in my refrigerator for 8 months now. One of them stopped working. I thought LEDs were supposed to last thousands of hours or at least one thousand!

I needed this as a replacement for my refrigerator lights. My previous bulb was an incandescent and the difference is nearly night and day.. A brighter fridge looks almost like a brand new fridge. I can see in areas that were previously dim or almost hidden by darkness. LED lights are overall brighter and safer(as compared to incandescent bulbs). I am glad that I have finally made the change.
