My old GE incandescent fridge bulb shows a yellow hue light and the bulb runs hot. It burns out ever 2 years or so. This LED bulb runs at 5000k color temperature and runs cool. I just started using it 2 weeks ago so its hard to judge the longevity, but I am pretty happy with it so far. Its white light and is a little smaller than my previous bulb. Its also cool to the touch, which may mean it will help it last longer as with other LED lights.

I can now discern what is in my fridge.

It get the job done... but it flickers when the bulb isnt warmed up...

The new bulbs fit much better under the new, shapely lampshade I purchased as a replacement shade. The regular bulbs no longer fit the space. These are very bright, white lights.

This is a nice bulb for those that dont have issue with light-bulb haze, but we dont care to use this in the fridge after all, because the items / complete inside of refrigerator looks hazy and somewhat blurred. (Must note here - all the ceiling fans / light fixtures / lamps in our home were changed to LED 3 - 4 yr ago = so its not that were UN-accustomed to LED) The bulb is made well / good quality, and the 60 Watt equivalent is much brighter and more light then our original equipment (40 watt incandescent bulb) But seeing into the fridge (for us) is a strain on the eyes, its the same as the haze in big box stores. (and the reason for 3 stars) The difference can be seen in some photos I took of the original bulb in the refrigerator - and this bulb. = But Amazon isnt allowing posting photos recently = since Covid 19 became rampid.

Good bulb but only lasted 10 months. At $5 a bulb Id certainly expect longer lasting life especially as an LED. Disappointed.

I was worried about having fragile light bulbs deliver but they arrived in perfect condition! Very bright, wiring efficiently. I would purchase again.

Only one of the light bulbs worked.

I bout a pair of these bulbs about a year ago, and put both in my refrigerator right away. They were a great brightness and much lower energy usage compared to the original incandescent bulbs. I gave this 4 stars because one of the two died after just over a year of use.
