> 3 dayRemoving the broken iPad screen is a challenge. Lots of glass shards. Lots of old adhesive to scrape out. Replacement screen was simple to install once the old one removed and debris cleaned out. New screen’s adhesive was okay, except near the home button where it has not fully adhered. Overall, everything works. The price of this kit is worth it to salvage the iPad.

> 3 daySeems like a fine cheap replacement. You can see the lines on the screen at certain angles. But it works. Good tools too. Suction cup isnt great, but the rest are great. The guitar pic is also cheap and bends/ creases to easy. Only good for 1 or 2 jobs. Wish they included 3 total to keep space when your working the edges of the screen with a heat gun. I set mine to 450°F. Once i got the screen to flex in a little, the metal screen tool did great cutting into the adhesive. 4 stars because you can see the lines in the screen that makes the digitizer touch areas.

> 3 dayInstalling a screen is not an easy thing to do at all. It takes time and patience. But other the. That this screen came with more then enough tools to help me replace my screen. Saved myself about $80 and it looks and most importantly it works perfectly.

Greater than one weekThis replacement glass worked great! I will say if you are thinking about repairing your Ipad glass, best be a patient person. It is a tedious project. If the screen is shattered, you will be picking glass out bit by bit. I used a hair dryer and it seemed to loosen up the adhesive pretty good. Also, you will have shards flying about, make sure you have a work space that you can easily clean. I used a towel and then threw it away. Last part, the digitizer, try and get it out of the way as soon as possible. I had to take a damp cloth to mine because of all the debris. Cleaning the digitezer in not recommended (by the sites I viewed). The only issue I did have is the cable for the button, seemed a little long. For this project, I rate it at about an 8 on the PIA scale. Good luck!

> 3 dayItem arrived on time. This is the third ipad I have done this replacement so no stranger to the process. The screen fit great, however it came with no adhesive. Most of the original adhesive was still on the ipad side so I just heated it up and pressed the new screen into place. My real disappointment came with the manner that they secured the cables. They F*@%**! taped them to the back of the screen about an inch out. Even after cleaning, the area that was taped still shows up in the screen! WTF! Its like the adhesive etch the screen. You can only rub/clean so hard before you scratch it . . . So one star for the adhesive and one star for the tape.

Greater than one weekI really liked this one, because I had purchased another screen replacement before and it had little square lines that were VERY noticeable, but this one looks great. I just wish it was more adhesive, but thats fine, because I have an iPad cover. And I like the fact that it comes with the home bottom.

Greater than one weekSecond digitizer to be installed on my Ipad. Neither one adhered very well at the point where the ribbon cable folds around the glass. dont know if I am missing / forgetting to remove tape cover ??? As anyone will tell you; take your time, watch a couple of videos and wear gloves.
