Zilla Pet Reptile Terrarium Fresh Air Screen Cover with Hinged Door 20 x 10

It fits perfectly on my 20 gal long terrarium, but the little door doesnt close all the way so my corn snake escaped day one of having it. So if you have a snake, I would not recommend.

This screen does work to keep pets in or if you have cats out of the aquarium, but if you have a gecko or other arboreal pet, and you plan to keep said pet in your bedroom, this lid is a nightmare! You have no idea how loud these metal lids are at night when your pet starts climbing around on them. My crested gecko drives me crazy and keeps me up all night running around on this lid. I will have to find a quieter lid or re-home my gecko somewhere that he wont be disturbing anyones sleep.

The product was bent and the knob was not included.

When new I noticed some of the products metal mesh screen was broken in a few spots. If Im not paying attention and run my hand across the top of the screen it will jab me occasionally and draw a little blood. It wasnt worth returning, but probably wouldnt by another one online.

Beginner fish keepers: dont buy this, the material rusts in water. Good for dry animals, fits the Aquaculture/standard 10g tank.

I got this to keep small feeder insects in their tank, but still be able to feed them easily. Somehow the crafty little buggars still get out... My next idea is to sew a wire screen mesh on the inside, to help contain the tinier critters. Otherwise, its been a great lid. Just be ready to do some extra work if youre trying to contain pinhead crickets, or baby madagascar hissing roaches. Its perfect, and more than adequate for everything else.

it came all bent up..if i didnt need it right awayand i didnt live so far away from the post office i would have sent it back

Wire mesh seems flimsy. I have 2 lightweight lights sitting on top and the mesh seems to be swayed already. I do love the door! Fits my 20 long tank very snug.
