Wheel pins broke off from my wheel when we picked the luggage up at baggage claim. Not how you want to start a trip. Also these wheels dont spin in a straight line and are frustrating to use. Want a refund

These are very good replacement wheels. Very little modification needed to install (just enlarging the existing mounting holes for original).

Great product, the bag roles lije brand new. You have to be very careful that the wheels ordered match the bag. You have to take one wheel off the bag and compare the screw hols and measure the size of the wheels.

Replaced two wheels on each of two suitcases. These were the leading wheels when pulling the suitcase in the 45 degree position. Wheels fit well and were relatively easy to install. Needed to make the holes in my suitcases a little larger to make the outer wheel screw attach points go in the holes. The most difficult part was squeezing the inner piece and the outer piece together (helps to have two people) to start the first attachment screw. The screws supplied were shorter than the original screws and it made the inital first screw assembly more difficult, so I used the old screws and that was significantly easier. The supplied screws need to be longer. The replacement wheels work well.

Arent these things supposed to be universal? Off by millimeters, so dumb.

No directions, had to figure installation myself. A little time consuming.

They are as close as exact replacement that you are going to find for this big Samsonite bag. The backing plates that come with it are a bit thicker than the original and made installation a pain. I reused one of the original backing plates from Samsonite because I got tired of fighting with the one that was included. I reused the original screws because they were longer and they needed to be to reach through the bag to grab the wheel. Installation took longer than it should have but thats life. The bag swivels like a brand new suitcase. Money well spent.

Not so easy to install, hard to aim the screws to their sockets, other than that perfect.

These wheels were purchased to replace originals on older Samsonite carry-on bag. The external units fit existing holes. However, internal plates and screws had to be switched with those from the original wheels, in order for the wheels to be securely attached, which took considerable effort to accomplish.
