10802 Gel Plate 8X10

Very happy with product

This arrived reeking of petrochemicals (offgassing) and full of large bubbles. I bought this as a treat for myself, after reading all the good reviews both here and on FB. I watched videos about it before purchasing. I am not a newbie artist. When I researched the bubbles and the smell, I found advice on the manufacturers website and on FB about putting the plate between two sheets of copy paper overnight, so I did that. There wasn’t much improvement, amd there are still dents in the surface that would make it unusable. Someone said they had this happen with a bulk order for a class, and they were told the extreme heat may have damaged the plates. I was sent this in heat over 100 degrees, and it was not my responsibility to know it shouldn’t be sent in those conditions. Very disappointed in this product.

Great for quick printing. I taught a class using these.

Gell Press is where it is at, LOVE!! I did not think I needed the larger size!! Thanks, Frugal Crafter, I buy so many crafting products stemming from her recommendations and trust her opinion!! This did not disappoint!!

Love it and it is addicting delivery on time happy so far

First time using a gel press ! Lots of fun creating distress backgrounds ! The quality seems good, dont have anything to compare with , works for me.

UPDATE: L❤VE my geliplate!!! Now I want another larger one! Im going to assume that this gel plate works as well as it should. its a smooth soft surface that grabs the acrylic medium. I also ordered a brayer from a different company but it is awful and impossible to use so I havent really got to use my plate yet. I look forward to playing with it when I get a different brayer

Well, I just opened this and my first thought is that someone in the warehouse had a rousing game of gel-plate hockey! I’m so disappointed!

Very good price compared to the other gel plate I had purchased previously from another manufacturer. Its easy to use if you keep it clean between uses.
