Kind of annoyed these didnt come in a tin like every other SFP I have ever bought in my life. Just a sealed plastic pouch and then a plastic container inside that. Why show the tin in the item pictures ...

Need two SPF+ to enable 10G to my Ubiquiti switch for Proxmox. Install the transceiver and the switch auto-negotiate the 10 G connection immediately. Happy with the easy to install and also a good deal.

My network adapter shipped with a 10 Gig fiber SFP+ module but I needed a copper module for a project and this works perfectly, now I can use 10 Gig (or 2.5, or 5, or 1) on this laptop wherever I go.

It is heating up like fire, don’t waste your time and money, not connecting with switches, also Amazon cheating returning items, it costs us more timing, they should have opened dropping stores.

Full. 10G Base-t. Connected to QNAP NAS SFP+ -> Cat 6 -> 10G Base-t switch. Switch reports 10g full duplex and iperf confirms. Would buy again.

I have two TP-Link TL-SG3428 switches (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0916BP6J5/) and bought 8 of these modules to create two 28 port switches with RJ-45 Ethernet ports. Unfortunately when I plug any one of the 8 modules into port 25 of either switch, and power cycle it, the switch will not boot up. No Ethernet cable is plugged into the module. When I put the modules in the 3 other SFP ports, the processor utilization of the switch went to 80% and stayed there. Oddly, after a time, the processor drops off to normal and the switch is usable; just dont put a module into port 25 and expect the switch to boot up next time you need to restart it. I hooked up to the switch console port and even the output from the switch is corrupted when a module is in port 25. Take it out, power cycle the switch, and the console shows the proper boot, port status up/down messages and the login prompt. The product description says they are widely compatible with TP-Link products; it just isnt wide enough to include the TL-SG3428. I updated both switches with the latest firmware (2.0.3 Build 20210409 Rel.52950), and neither one will boot if one of these modules is installed in port 25. ***UPDATE*** Im updating this review from a 1 star to a 4 because of the great support I received from H!Fiber. While the issue with using the module in port 25 was not resolved, the modules do work in other ports and with other switches I have on my network. I saw no reason to return them and that the 1 star rating was a bit unjust. H!Fiber support sent me a new model of their RJ45 module and though it also didnt work properly in port 25, I give them high marks for trying. While waiting for the new model of H!Fibers module, I purchased TP-Link modules (TL-SM331T - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09RMJWBSM/) and they work without any compatibility issues in the TL-SG3428 model switch. I also purchased a different model TP-Link switch (TL-SG2428P) and both models of modules from H!Fiber worked in all of the SFP ports on it. Seems the issue (in my situation) was isolated to the TP-Link TL-SG3428 switch.

No problems at all - used it to directly connect two PCs. Worked fine, no errors
