> 3 dayThis works well with my Aruba S2500-48P switch, and should work with the Aruba S3500 too. These switches are known to be picky with SFP+ modules, but since these modules are coded as 10GBASE-SR, it does a good job of tricking the switch into enabling them. This is the output of show interface transceivers: GE0/1/1 ------- Vendor Name : OEM Vendor Serial Number : <removed from review> Vendor Part Number : SFP-10G-SR Aruba Certified : NO Cable Type : 10GBASE-SR Connector Type : LC Wave Length : 850 nm

> 3 dayUsing in a MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN 10GbE switch. Keep in mind that 1GBASE-T modules require more power than fiber or DAC modules, so it runs hot--any 1GBASE-T module will. Make sure your device can handle it! I had some troubles with the first unit I received. It would work for a few days and then lose its link. I had to reset it by removing and re-inserting the module, and then it would work again for a few more days. However, HiFiber reached out to me directly once I reported this issue and sent me another one. The replacement has been working flawlessly since then. Great, five-star customer service! This module unfortunately does not support DDM, so there is no report of temperature or line conditions to the switch. The manufacturer tells me that this is expected. More oddly, it reports as an 850nm multi-mode (SR) fiber module, part number SFP-10G-SR. Sadly, this makes my switchs SFP+ module page less useful, but it has no bearing on basic functionality. Interestingly, an ipolex DAC module I have and the HiFiber part have similar-format serial numbers, so Im guessing theyre from the same assembly line. Physical construction is as solid as youd expect. Some Ethernet cables with a large boot may have trouble seating all the way into the jack though. You may have to try more than one cable. (Updated to reflect the outcome of the initial problem and upgrade the overall rating to match.)

> 3 dayI recently purchased a Cisco Nexus 3064-X with 48 10Gbps SFP+ ports. I needed something that would allow me to connect a FreeNas sever with 2 10Gbps RJ45 Nics to my new switch. I took a chance and purchased four of these and quality CAT8 Cables to ensure I would have a solid 10Gbps link to the new switch. These have worked flawlessly so far. I now have two 10Gbps links to my FreeNAS server and I used the other two to connect my pfSense Router to the Nexus using LACP. The pfSense router does not have 10Gbps Nics but it had no problems negotiating a 1Gbps link to each port in the LAG. More time will tell if these are rock solid but so far so good. TLDR: I have four of these in my Cisco Nexus 3064-X. So far I have had zero problems.

Greater than one weekI am using this transceiver in my TP-Link T1700G-28TQ switch to connect my NUC11PAHi5 at 2.5Gb/s to my NAS on a 10G SR port. The transceiver was plug and play with this switch and the NUC happily autonegotiated at 2.5Gb/s. Throughput is exactly what Id expect.
