> 3 dayI have bought two of these 10GBase-T modules. On one side a module is plugged into a CRS305-1G-4S+IN, and on the other side its connected to a connectx-3 card in my desktop via a QSFP to SFP+ adapter. The one in Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN is not stable, and disconnects from time to time. Sometimes it would come back up in a few seconds, sometimes it would stay disconnected until I unplug it, let it cool down to room temperature and plug it back in. The one in my desktop seems to work ok, thanks to the QSFP socket heat sink on the card, but also runs very hot. I saw another reviewer had the same experience. Can I get an exchange?

> 3 dayGreat value and the modules support the touchy Intel support of SFP 10GB support. Works perfectly as fiber uplink between USX-7100 and Unifi 24 Pro Switch

Greater than one weekWorks great for a fiber run to the shop.

Greater than one weekRight out of the box this transceiver worked with my QNAP QSW-308-1C switch. I am getting full 10G bandwidth with a 100 feet run of Cat 6 ethernet cable.

> 3 dayThis works well with my Aruba S2500-48P switch, and should work with the Aruba S3500 too. These switches are known to be picky with SFP+ modules, but since these modules are coded as 10GBASE-SR, it does a good job of tricking the switch into enabling them. This is the output of show interface transceivers: GE0/1/1 ------- Vendor Name : OEM Vendor Serial Number : <removed from review> Vendor Part Number : SFP-10G-SR Aruba Certified : NO Cable Type : 10GBASE-SR Connector Type : LC Wave Length : 850 nm

Greater than one weekI put this in a Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN to allow ethernet coneection to the rest of my network, however it gets extremely hot and stops working correctly. I have to pull it out and let it cool down to start working again. Funny thing is, I am connecting it to a 2.5 Gbe switch, so its still overheating when its only running at 25%.

> 3 dayMacht was es soll, bleibt kühl (im Vergleich zu Kupfer), erreicht 10G, keine Auffälligkeiten mit Mikrotik Switchen.. Ob wich damit einen Mission Critical Server anbinden würde oder den Back-Bone einer Firma, wüsste ich jetzt nicht.
