> 3 dayFull. 10G Base-t. Connected to QNAP NAS SFP+ -> Cat 6 -> 10G Base-t switch. Switch reports 10g full duplex and iperf confirms. Would buy again.

> 3 dayUsing in a MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN 10GbE switch. Keep in mind that 1GBASE-T modules require more power than fiber or DAC modules, so it runs hot--any 1GBASE-T module will. Make sure your device can handle it! I had some troubles with the first unit I received. It would work for a few days and then lose its link. I had to reset it by removing and re-inserting the module, and then it would work again for a few more days. However, HiFiber reached out to me directly once I reported this issue and sent me another one. The replacement has been working flawlessly since then. Great, five-star customer service! This module unfortunately does not support DDM, so there is no report of temperature or line conditions to the switch. The manufacturer tells me that this is expected. More oddly, it reports as an 850nm multi-mode (SR) fiber module, part number SFP-10G-SR. Sadly, this makes my switchs SFP+ module page less useful, but it has no bearing on basic functionality. Interestingly, an ipolex DAC module I have and the HiFiber part have similar-format serial numbers, so Im guessing theyre from the same assembly line. Physical construction is as solid as youd expect. Some Ethernet cables with a large boot may have trouble seating all the way into the jack though. You may have to try more than one cable. (Updated to reflect the outcome of the initial problem and upgrade the overall rating to match.)

> 3 dayThis is my second set of these that I have ordered. They are all running in Mikrotik switches / routers. Just pop them in and they work out of the box. One set even survived a lightning strike (the hardware they were in was not so lucky).

> 3 daySome worked, some identified themselves incorrectly depending on what gear they were installed in. After a very difficult conversation with HiFibers support group, what I received wasnt what I ordered. The ones I received had a specific identification for a manufacturer, so other devices read them wrong. I purchased 2 modules, same model but not vendor-coded, from another brand and they worked fine. Too late to return these. Update: HiFiber contacted me and we discussed the issue, ultimately firmware related on the modules for the device I was using it in and they had addressed it. They exchanged the modules, with my only cost being the return shipping. I highly recommend HiFiber because they will make it right if there is an issue.

> 3 dayNeeded a pair of CISCO SM OPTICS modules ASAP and had to be direct plug compatible. True name brand CISCO modules cost 20x or 30x more and are semi constrained due to logistics and supply chain issues. The packaging is unusual (metal box) but who cares. They worked.

> 3 dayI am giving this 4 stars because Im not entirely sure the modules are at fault, it could be incompatibility or some other hardware involved in my setup. These only seem to work after re-seating many times, there may be something I did to get them working, but Im not sure what it was at this point. I am using the same module at both ends. 1 on my Mikrotik CRS317, and 1 on my Mellanox ConnectX-3 (Dell OEM if that matters) connected by a 75 foot Cat7 cable. I have given up trying to figure out what the issue is, and Im hoping it just continues to work for now, until I can budget for a different solution. I will be keeping these, I think, just frustrated because they work just fine until I remove them and re-insert. Will update my review if there are any further developments. I would recommend using fiber or DAC cables instead if your situation doesnt warrant copper (mine does).
