2-in-One Drip Irrigation Tubing Hole Punch & Fitting Insertion Tool - for Easier 1/4 Inch Fitting & Emitter Insertion

This was perfect for our project! Adding 1/4” drip lines for Raised Beds. Needed to do almost 90 of them so this came in handy. Easiest thing to add holes to 5/8” black pipe. Saved our hands!!

perfect tool for punching holes on 1/2 inch drip hose.

The punch worked perfectly (thus the 3 stars), however the insertion tool did not work at all. When pushing the barb into tubing, the barb tended to slip off the holder as force was applied. I gave up and just used pliers to do the insertion, which was so much easier.

It works.

It was very hard for me to use even when I let the hose warm in the sun. Not for older folks that are weaker.

I prefer the type that cuts out a plug of the tube instead of this spike.

In a hutshell, i found it worthless.

I used this for 400’ vegetable garden irrigation, Works great.

I suggest you heat the tubes first. I carefully used a lighter. Cant understand why someone cant make a better mousetrap for this type of tool.
