> 3 dayBought this for my kids at-home schooling during the COVID epidemic. It does everything we need plus much more. Were not launching space shuttles, making box office movies, or curing cancer. Were studying butterflies, doing common core math, writing papers, and doing some digital art projects. It works great for those sorts of things!

> 3 dayWe’ve only had the laptop up and running for 2 days, but so far it’s running great. We switched out of “s” mode with no trouble so we could use it with my daughter’s virtual schooling.

> 3 dayThis laptop has a Windows 10S Home operating system which means it will only allow the Edge as your web browser. It will also restrict the type of apps you can load, under the guise of security ( read: only what Microsoft wants) It also forces you to create a Microsoft account for logging in your computer. If you have specific apps you need (perhaps like school required for at home learning) you will have a difficult time getting this laptop to work for you. Amazon really needs to make sure people understand the difference between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10S Home and their information clearly shows the correct operating system. I I would never have made this purchase knowing what I had to learn. If you dont want Microsoft controlling how you use your laptop you dont want this machine.

> 3 dayI purchased this laptop and received it quickly. I am sorry that I ever purchased this. In order for the screen to be clear and crisp, the screen has to be tilted in an unnatural position -- far back. In addition, although I just purchased it brand new, HP is giving me only 8 months warranty instead of 12 months. I guess Amazon had this laptop since March, so that is the date they want to use for the warranty. I have been on the phone with HP all afternoon, and I am up to 4 hours now. I have been transferred to many people, and no one seems to be able to fix the screen /picture issues. The laptop also got stuck on night mode when we tried to make adjustments! The model is apparently quite outdated (which I did not know), and HP has me downloading update after update to no avail. Save yourself some aggravation. DO NOT BUY THIS!

> 3 dayI was looking for a laptop that did not have Windows 10 Home in S Mode. I cannot find anywhere for this product in its descriptions that it would be in S Mode. The product descriptions only read Windows 10 Home so this is clear to me false advertisement as you can only install Microsoft verified applications. Might not seem like a big deal for most unless you specifically did not want Windows 10 Home in S Mode when purchasing Windows 10 Home.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my son for distant learning. Every hour, NOT exaggerating, he has to reboot because the computer freezes. We tried updates and that didn’t work either. He cannot participate in school chats because the computer lags so badly. My daughter has a Dell that we bought from the Microsoft store and it works perfectly. It’s frustrating enough to be home schooling during these times, this is the LAST thing I need. Now, the left side of the mouse has lifted and is no longer operable.

> 3 dayI bought this in a hurry when my laptop crashed. As a student this is a great choice because it is fast and easy to use. The touch screen is great for flipping through powerpoints and studying notes. The size is not bad, I can display 2 things side by side for note taking and its large enough to read. Battery life is great.
