Greater than one weekWasnt sure if I could use this with not much hand strength; but this was easier than I thought. I kept losing the little pre-drill screws. This was a great find. And TWO for the price was even better.

> 3 dayI really like these centering punches. Ive been working on a project that involves drilling dozens of holes in mild steel. My old punch (another automatic) never left a satisfying dimple to start a drill bit. It would leave a mark to line things us, but it wasnt deep enough to ensure that the bit wouldnt wonder. Well not these punches! The point on these punches is sharp and suepr hard. The spring has a terrific punch to it and is strong enough to get a good start in any metal or wood surface. My drill bits of various sizes were always right on center following the dimple from these punches. Highly recommended.

05-06-2025karmiero 2 Pc Automatic Center Punch Remarkably, both of the spring-loaded automatic punches worked the first time. The grip is easy to maintain. First, I tried various types of wood. The pressure to activate the punch is minimal. Each time it scribed a hole mark. I then went to metals such as aluminum and steel. The steel required spring adjustment to get a good visible hole. The punch never slipped and was accurate. The tools are easy to assemble and disassemble. Well manufactured, and no detectable flaws. Excellent value.

> 3 dayThis offer was for 2 identical punches at a low price. Very handy to have in 2 different locations. I dont know how long they will last, time and use will tell.

> 3 dayI dont think these are fully stainless steel, but thats somewhat expected at this price point. Both of my punches work as intended and require a pretty average amount of pressure to fully engage the punch. I havent tried messing with the spring intensity yet because there was no need, but you should be able to make it firmer or softer depending on your application. Just based on the price I doubt these will last a long time but worst case I have a couple backup/throw away punches as needed.
