> 3 dayThe mechanism in both United are very difficult to work. Need to repeatedly press the unit down more than once to have the spring disengage and spring back to make the mark. Is is easier to just use a scribe instead of the center points that I purchased. Not happy with the product unfortunately. Thank you.

15-11-2024This offer was for 2 identical punches at a low price. Very handy to have in 2 different locations. I dont know how long they will last, time and use will tell.

> 3 dayThis is a usable and functional low budget center punch. The product listing indicates it’s made of “high-quality stainless steel” but it appears to be run of the mill steel. I saw no difference when I adjusted the spring tension and used the punch on 1/8” thick mild steel and the resulting dimple wasn’t very deep at any spring tension. That said, it’s usable and there’s admittedly little to complain about given the $6 price for 2 punches.

> 3 dayIf you have to drill holes in ...... you can simply start drilling and hope the drill bit actually goes in straight. On metal or on rounded surface you know the drill bit will dance around before catching and scraping up the surface as it goes. These center punches are spring loaded so you simply place it where you want to drill press and it leaves an indent keeping your drill bit centered and straight. A must have for anyone working on metal or plastics. Good quality tool which when you learn how to use you wont ever not want to be without.

> 3 dayI have been quite pleased with these! They work great, are adjustable and seem to be well made! - Perfectly simple to use! - Just press your tip point at the very spot you want your bit or screw to start, and press the body down - You’ll feel the quick “pop” of the tool and that’s it! (Use the adjustment to twist yours for more or less spring force) - Absolutely no other tool or hammer required, just point and press! - Would absolutely recommend these! 10/10 a win for me!

> 3 dayIF yours doesnt punch holes, you have to open up the front part and change the direction of the spring. The spring that is closest to the hole punch part. For some reason the spring I received way put it backwards so it was catching on the mechanism inside and not pressing into the whole fully.
