> 3 dayHated spending so much for the 17 mm as I had already recently bought the 20mm, but it is SO WORTH IT. I have short, flat nipples and with the standard 24 mm flanges, my poor nips always felt terribly bruised. I would get tears in my eyes if my children or husband accidentally bumped my chest. According to the ‘measure after pumping’ rule and using a mm sizing guide, the 20mm should fit but I must have nips that swell to fit all available space. With these, my areola isn’t being painfully sucked into the flange. No more bruised painful feeling! I exclusively pump and use these for 4 30 minute pumping sessions every day. They have held up very well, no signs of wear and are easy to clean. If you’re on the fence, buy them! I actually might be able to go a size smaller but I’m happy with these. Thanks Maymom!

Greater than one weekI needed a smaller flange size but unfortunately Spectra did not make 17mm. These work PERFECTLY with my Spectra S1 and have been so much more comfortable than the 24mm flanges the pump came with.

> 3 dayGot the 17mm flanges to use with glass bottles that are compatible with spectra 2 pumps. The flanges are awesome and finally fit for the best pumping sessions possible, but more importantly no more painful pulling/lack of suction! The flanges dont fit tightly on the Matys brand glass bottles I got but as long as you dont move around much, its no biggie. Its awesome to have no more painful pinching on one of the most sensitive areas of the body, especially how often every momma has to pump!

> 3 dayJust like the Spectra flanges. If youre pumping and not getting anything out but still left with full breasts, your flange is probably too big. If youre using the standard 24mm honestly its probably too big. You have to measure the nipple only, just the little button, then add a few mm to it. I was having an awful time pumping, kept feeling numb, starting getting less and less milk but constantly felt my letdown forcefully. I measured my nipple finally and after trying the 19mm first, seemed to find a perfect fit here. Your areola should not be going into the flange! Thanks maymom!

> 3 dayThese flanges are perfectly compatible with my Spectra 2 pump so I was able to use them right away. They’re exactly the same as the flanges that came with the pump except smaller diameter for a better fit. Just make sure you measure your nipples after pumping, with a ruler or tape measure, and then buy a flange 3-4” larger and you’ll be fine. Highly recommend this brand.

02-06-2025I’ll take it since there aren’t a ton of options when you don’t fit the standard flanges that come with every pump, but they do leak if you’re not careful. A rubber gasket would go a long way to seal the top. If I lean too far forward because my toddler needs something, I can feel milk dripping off the side of the collection bottles.

> 3 dayLoved them for about a month, then they cracked. I only pump once a day too so not over use and I take great care of them. :(
