2X 17 mm Maymom Wide Neck Pump Parts Compatible with Spectra S1/S2 Pumps; Incl Wide Mouth Flanges; Not Original Spectra Flange; Replaces Spectra Shield (Two Small Flanges)

This is the brand my lactation consultant recommended, great quality product so far. Had no idea knowing nipple size is so crucial to take into account while pumping - turns out Im 17mm, much smaller than what breast pumps come with by default. Tell every mom you know! The standard flange size is TOO LARGE for most women, its not average at all - which can be detrimental to milk supply.

Got the 17mm flanges to use with glass bottles that are compatible with spectra 2 pumps. The flanges are awesome and finally fit for the best pumping sessions possible, but more importantly no more painful pulling/lack of suction! The flanges dont fit tightly on the Matys brand glass bottles I got but as long as you dont move around much, its no biggie. Its awesome to have no more painful pinching on one of the most sensitive areas of the body, especially how often every momma has to pump!

Exclusive pumper here. Bought the 15mm - yes, actually need them this tiny. Definitely helped with draining the milk significantly faster so that was a win. But dang. The tunnels are SO short, I get sucked all the way down to the end so my nips are hitting the end. Not the answer for super elastic+skinny nips. Ouch!

These are great. I usually use another brand but I couldn’t find the 17mm in that brand. These work great with my Spectra S2 and NeNe Supply parts. I’ve used them every day for months now and they are still in perfect condition. My nipples can’t say the same…

The first pair I bought had clearly been used (the packaging was ripped, there was grime on the flanges) and not cleaned which is just not sanitary for any baby. I returned those and got a new set. Second set was unopened and clean. They work just fine, just beware you may have to buy multiple until you get an unused pair. It’s hard to find 17 mm flanges otherwise I would’ve tried from a different brand given the first pair I bought.

I ordered because I need the 17mm and that size is hard to find, but I just got these in and the tunnel is too short. I have elastic nipples so it doesnt work with the short tunnel. Disappointing.

Properly fitting flanges make a huge difference in your pumping journey. For some reason most pumps come with a standard 24mm flange even though the standard nipple measurement is 13mm (or at least so’s age the internet). My friends and I measured and 3 women all measured between 13-14mm. I was previously using silicone inserts but they made more parts to wash, we’re hard to remove to wash, and weren’t always where I needed them. These are amazing. They fit all of my spectra parts and have made a huge difference.
