This rope hangs outside constantly in various trees. It holds up wire antennas in all types of weather. I have not noticed any issue with stretching or fraying whatsoever.

Great for hanging dipole antennas from trees.

Great for ham radio wire antennas. Plenty strong using pulley and 60 lb. counterweight. The other end of my dipole rope was routed over a tree limb. Constant rubbing caused the rope to wear through and break after 1 year. Ive replaced this abrasion prone segment with Mastrant @ $0.16/ft. If you can avoid abrasion this rope should last for years.

Im using this for ham radio antenna guy lines and support ropes. The 3/16 size is just right for most applications. Great price for 500 feet and the spool will last me a long time.

This line is the same as what you might see elsewhere marketed for hanging ham radio antennas. Same material, diameter, strength, etc. This line however is a fraction of the price.

Got this to make a halyard for my Ham Radio wire antennas. Dacron is the only thing to use if you are leaving it out in the weather. I have had some up for more than 5 years and no degradation.

This item is being sold as 500 feet of 3/16th BLACK Dacron. What I received was 1000 feet of 3/16 polyester rope. Box was labeled 500 ft black dacron but wasnt it.
