> 3 dayI am using this rope to hold up Amateur Radio wire antennas. This stuff is strong and easy to work with. Currently I have 60 of it on a pulley holding up the center of an antenna in a tree. It has been up for over a year and survived rain, snow, ice and high winds and still looks solid.

> 3 dayI used the 3/16” Dacron rope to support a 160/80/40/20/15/10 meter multi band wire antenna made AWG 12 copper wire. Each end of the antenna is supported using the Rope and the center of the antenna is also supported by the rope run through a pulley to raise and lower the antenna. The antenna only weighs 20 pounds and is mounted as a flat top at 40 feet above the ground. It’s been up for almost 2 months now and seems to be supported well even in heavy winds. The rope is easy to work with and ties easily into knots.

> 3 dayThis rope hangs outside constantly in various trees. It holds up wire antennas in all types of weather. I have not noticed any issue with stretching or fraying whatsoever.

> 3 dayLong ago I bought a spool of 3/16 black Dacron cord off another online market for $50. It was awesome stuff. I used it for guylines on a radio tower. Its been out in the sun for a year now and looks new. I recently found myself in need of another spool of 3/16 black Dacron cord. This stuff looked like what I needed. I was sorely disappointed when I got it. The braid is quite loose. This is definitely not low-stretch. Only the very outer layer is braided. The core is white and felt super cheesy. This stuff wasnt in the same class as the other stuff I have. Sent back and got a refund.

20-11-2024I used this cord to hang a 105 foot long wire antenna with an open wire feed line hanging from a center insulator. The cord is attached to two trees at about 40 to 50 feet. It has held up well for several months without stretching, or breaking, and we have had some high winds. I used the 3/16 inch diameter cord.
