Purchased for non conventional use: it gets rid of ring around the toilet! Used gently it removes those nasty rings that never seem to get cleaned with regular toilet bowl cleaners. Using a small piece of this helped immensely and the toilet bowls now look brand new!!

This is the one and only product that I have found to take off water stains from a toilet bowl. It was amazing!

Got this to use in an unconventional way. If you have a nasty hard water line in your toilet bowl, cut a small square and use some Bar Keepers Friend to scrub the gunk off. You barely have to scrub and it doesnt scratch the porcelain like a pumice stone would. My toilet has never looked better. Highly recommend!

The perfect thing for cleaning hard water stains out of sinks and toilets.

I read a random article on the internet that said to use fine drywall sanding screens and Barkeepers Friend for hard water stains in the toilet. I am living in a 30yo rental with original fixtures with these stains in every toilet and sink/tub drain. I figured for $5 why not try it since everything else I had tried did nothing. I cut it in 1 strips and tried it with just water to see if it would scratch the porcelain. It did not, and the stains came off in minutes. I didnt even need the Barkeepers Friend. The next time I use it I will wear gloves though, because it does slowly disintegrate when you use it in water and the particles are tiny and could possibly irritate or maybe get into your skin. I have attached a photo of a tub drain and a toilet where the right side has been cleaned with the screen, and the left side was not so you can see the difference.

I really liked the very fine . It was easy to use between coats of paint and sealer.

This is helpful (in combination with a shop vac attachment for sucking up dust) to level out joint compound. Just know that itll leave lines (see picture) - Ive tried different motions, but no mater how I do it, lines are left. Ill have to go back over that with traditional sand paper. Overall, though, Im satisfied with what I got for the price.
